For our April General Meeting, please read Note below . . .
NOTE: Due to the Community Center closing on this date for construction, our General Meeting will be held at the Freedom Center, 275 E. Pleasant Valley Rd., Camarillo (near the Airport). The workshop will be held in our regular classrooms at the community Center.
April 14 -Anne Sonner -"Totally Traditional to Quite Qurky Trunk Show" This trunk show has a variety of large quilts (different ones from the family history lectures) collected and created over 30 years. Included are antique quilts, a Baby Jane, appliqued irises, a quilt within a quilt, Hawaiian Dresden Plate, Delectable Mountains, friendship quilts, the Bus Stop Quilt, and a quilt with coffee cups and coffee quotes. Lots of quilts and lots of stories.
April 15 Workshop-"Sweatshirt Jacket" NOTE: The workshop will be help in our regular classrooms at the Community Center.

Linda Sullivan - "My Best Tips & Tricks for Perfect Precision Piecing"
Linda is a true believer that quilting should be first and foremost, fun!, and that ‘persnickety seams’ and ‘potential piecing hazards’ may be frustrating but can always be overcome. Linda will share her best tips and tricks for fabric preparation, setting your machine up for stitchin’ success, perfect pressing, favorite thread/needle choices and most importantly, tools and techniques for fine tuning and achieving your most accurate scant 1/4” seam allowance.
